Motivated to change

For a long time I have been dealing intermitently with depression and pornography, (as well as other related issues) and after a series of events today I find myself with a new resolve to fight these trials. As I looked online for articles that could give me some direction I stumbled across a blog of another individual where he talked about his struggle against pornography, and later his success. From there I found more blogs where recovering porn addicts journaled about their progress. With permission of their authors I will be linking other blogs on similar issues. I hope that their content can be helpful to both you and me. Please feel free to comment on any of my posts, no matter what you have to say. Just, please, keep it respectful.

I've tried various times to quit, but I seem to always come back to it, so I have decided to do it differently this time. To be honest I don't really have a plan or anything yet. Starting a blog was actually a little spontaneous, but I do feel extremely motivated. Tonight I will be doing a lot of contemplation and I'll be setting some goals, and tomorrow I'll post up on that. I'm new to blogging, so please bear with me and my ramblings.

  3. Hello. My name is Luke and I blog at CovenantEyes.com/blog. I am getting ready to write about about how pornography addicts use blogging as way to help themselves through their addiction. Would you be interested in shooting me a quick email with some thoughts?

    1. Why do you blog about your addiction/temptation with porn?
    2. Have you been encouraged through your use of a blog? How?
    3. Have you met other bloggers who are doing the same thing?

Let me know if you are interested in helping me with this! Thanks.
